SDI had constructed Farmers Training Center (FTC) at Sutipara in Dhamrai with substantial financial grant from the people of Japan and also SDI’s own resources. The purpose of the 3 storied Farmer’s Training Center is to impart agricultural skills training specially of organic farming and marketing , to atleast 1332 farmers annually to improve productivity thus add value and resulting in income increase and eventual poverty reduction.

FTC is a three storied fully furnished training centre located adjacent to Sutipara-Nannar Road, Sutipara of Dhamrai upazilla and about half km from sutipara bus stopage on Dhaka-Aricha Highway. The complex has 2.12 acres of land space for practial training and demonstration purpose.

FTC has full CCTV survillance, robust power generator, Internet connectivity, Car parking, Dormitory, Training hall, Conference Room, Library, Dining Facilities, Kitchen, Open varenda, Health Service room, garden and 2500sft roof space with BBQ facilities.

The venue is ideal for holding conferences by Govt. agencies, Donor Agencies, NGOs, MFIs, Pharmaceutical companies, multinational companies etc. The center has a spacious seminar cum auditorium ideal for holding conference of 400 audience. The conference center is fully air conditioned and equipped with state of the art audio-visual systems and acoustically designed for crisp and clear sound and suppress noises. Adjacent of the conference hall is a specious area for refreshment arrangements. Also it has an air conditioned waiting lounge for distinguished guest to an event in the conference room.
